Alex Papagiorcopulo has been appointed Office Manager of the niche Homes of Quality business unit, which caters for the high-end property market. Mr Papagiorcopulo joined HOQ just over a year ago and quickly established himself within the team. He holds a postgraduate qualification in marketing through the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and has held several management and senior management positions with Bank of Valletta over the past 22 years.
He has led teams in both front-facing and back-office functions. Throughout his career, he has managed various bank branches, strategy and business development departments, the retail network office of Bank of Valletta, while also sitting on various implementation teams for a number of key projects such as internet banking, relationship banking and customer segmentation models, amongst others.
“I aim to further consolidate Homes of Quality’s position. Our consultants are highly experienced and offer a professional service tailored to the requirements of clients. HOQ will remain at the forefront of property brokerage and will continue to build on its untarnished reputation for quality service while embracing new technologies and methodologies aimed at enhancing customer experience,” Mr Papagiorcopulo said.
Company director and previous HOQ Manager Grahame Salt said: “Managing the Homes of Quality team has been great fun and a fantastic experience over the past few years but I felt that due to other commitments, HOQ would be better served having a full-time manager focused on driving the brand and team forward. I also wanted someone to experience working at Homes of Quality and what this entails to properly understand the business before taking it over.”
Going forward, Mr Salt will be focusing his energy on the group’s general business development, Berkeley Investments and his personal clients.
