MyMaltaStory.com allows potential tourists to map out their journeys visually, thanks to scores of fun video clips showing a multitude of activities that can be enjoyed in Malta.

Whether it’s taking a harbour cruise, dining in Mdina, exploring ancient temples or heading off to Gozo, the site gives visitors a vivid picture of what to expect from their holidays.

The site, which was developed by local marketing agency BRNDWGN, also enables users to produce their own holiday video – their own “Malta Story” – by combining their six favourite clips. This is done through a user-friendly interface integrated with YouTube.

Visitors can then share the videos via e-mail or through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google+. This allows potential tourists to show their friends and family what exactly they are missing out while adding to the hype for those who are about to pack their bags.

With over 37,000 video clip combinations, each “Malta Story” acts as a personalised three-minute advert for Malta that can be shared around the globe.

Visitors to the site can even browse through all the videos produced by other users, their locations pinned on a digital map of the world to show from where they accessed the web-site, creating a global community of Malta fans.

Users can also upload their own YouTube clips about Malta, adding to the visitor’s experience and building a networked platform for people who have documented their own travels through audiovisuals.

People who use MyMaltaStory.com to make their own personalised video also get the chance to win two free flights and also discounts being offered by Air Malta.
