It is designed by one of Malta's leading firms of architects to offer all the conveniences of modern life, maximising the use of space without giving up the luxury or roomy comfort. The surface finish is harwearing to withstand the marine environment. Marble and granite finishing is used in some areas. The blocks are stepped to create a series of white planes, and the orientation is to the four directions: north, south, east and west, offering a wide choice of apartments that only a free-standing block can provide. There is no commercial component to the development, which means that the lower levels will be kept free from shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets or offices. This makes Fort Cambridge Malta's only development of this nature which is purely residential.
